The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeSac needs to keep his hands up - Mechtaniy had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Jean LeSac has been cut.

Mechtaniy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

LeSac shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. LeSac showed some decent athleticism there.

LeSac seems to be working for a kimura but Mechtaniy defends the submission attempt.
