The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGavin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

McGavin feints and as Wall raises his hands in defense, McGavin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

McGavin throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wall blocks it with crossed arms.
Wall drops down looking for an ankle pick but McGavin pulls his leg out and moves away.
McGavin looks to land a combination. Wall sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Wall is breathing heavily.

McGavin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wall does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
