The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Storti has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Alkofer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Storti.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alkofer connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Storti to escape the position.

Alkofer is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Alkofer is trying to stick to Storti's back but Storti is turning into Alkofer. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Alkofer's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Storti.
