The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holland tries to clinch up but am circles away and keeps his distance.

am shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. am showed some decent athleticism there.

am slips a nice elbow through Holland's hands, connecting with Holland's forehead.

Holland wants to improve his position but am is controlling well.

Holland is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Holland is trying to maintain the position but am is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee stands the fighters back up. ad am just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

am shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holland's guard.

Holland had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. am is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Holland Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take am's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
am rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
am is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
am tries to roll over but Holland keeps him under control.

Holland is leaning against am and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Holland seems keen to control am's posture.

Holland has his feet on am's thighs here. He's pushed am off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! am screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
