The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ronan tries to keep at a distance but Allen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Allen breaks the clinch.
Ronan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Allen.
Allen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ronan's hands.

It looks like Faustino Ronan has been cut.

Allen drops Ronan with a big left hand and mounts him. Ronan is in big trouble!

Ronan is rocked!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Allen loads up with a big shot that hurts Ronan! He's pulled Allen in close but Allen has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Ronan survive? More strikes from Allen and Ronan is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
