PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masakatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi's entrance music is Lose Yourself. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks dives in and grabs Gomi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gomi pushes down on Marks's head and hops out.
Gomi misses with a two punch combination.
Gomi tried to score with a low kick but Marks checks it.
Marks blocks a head kick by Gomi.
Marks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marks throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gomi jabs Marks right on the nose. Marks blinks but takes it well.

Marks shoots in and bounces Gomi off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Gomi seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Marks is holding on tight.
