Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Sebastien Blais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Rodriguez de Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blais might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - One. Luiz Rodriguez de Lima has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luiz Rodriguez de Lima!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blais tries to clinch up.
Blais shoots in but no luck this time.
Rodriguez de Lima misses the jab.
Blais shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Blais moves in looking to clinch but Rodriguez de Lima pushes him off.
Rodriguez de Lima is looking to slow Blais down with leg kicks.
Jean Sebastien Blais seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blais looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blais stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rodriguez de Lima.
Rodriguez de Lima stuns Blais with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Rodriguez de Lima dodges an elbow strike from Blais.

Blais jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rodriguez de Lima walks away with a smile on his face. Blais gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rodriguez de Lima has picked Blais up - he's going for a ride! Rodriguez de Lima dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Rodriguez de Lima has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blais uses from the top position.
