Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dee Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Game On (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kardinal Offishall - Dangerous ft. Akon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dee Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Game On!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - On circles away.
On circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
On throws a wild body kick that Johnson sees coming a mile off.
A punch combination from Johnson misses.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson looks to throw a body kick
and On counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
On throws a head kick that misses.
Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from On.
On looks gassed!
Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably

and On counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Johnson is looking for a triangle but On pushes his legs off easily.

Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but On can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. On gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson is looking for a triangle here but On uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
On has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Johnson!
Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.

On pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Johnson is trying to escape the mount.
On looking to control and managing it successfully.
On can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Johnson is looking to improve his position but On isn't that keen on the idea.
Johnson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Johnson is looking to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Game On dominated that round.
That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Johnson works over On's head and body with a nice combination.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
On is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Johnson.
On slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
On circles away from the clinch attempt
and On counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Johnson is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Johnson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and On counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking.
Dee Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A chopping leg kick lands by Johnson.

and On counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but On has him pressed against the cage.

On pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
On keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably

and On counters with a takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Johnson is not content to let On control the position.
Johnson regains half guard there - taking advantage of On's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Johnson actively working from the bottom here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johnson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
On is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
On tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
On thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Game On showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Johnson tries to clinch but On moves away

and On counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.

Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. On gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
On with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
On stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Johnson has his foot on On's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. On works his way back into a safe position though.
On slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

On avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

On gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dee Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
On fails with the takedown.
Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch

and On counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by On.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
On is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Johnson breaks from the clinch.
Johnson throws a leg kick which misses On's front leg but catches the back leg as On tries to avoid it.
Johnson cracks a nice hook into On's ribs.
On circles away from the clinch attempt.
Game On is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dee Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Johnson clinches with his opponent.
Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
On tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Johnson looks to clinch
and On counters with a head kick. That will keep Johnson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

And that's the end of the fight!
Game On comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got On winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
