Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moritz HANZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Baltar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baltar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Even Flow. Gaius Baltar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moritz HANZ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gaius Baltar!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HANZ circles away from the clinch attempt.

HANZ feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

HANZ wants to pass the guard but Baltar is keeping the position.

Baltar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. HANZ stacks Baltar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by HANZ!
Baltar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but HANZ wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

HANZ is working to tighten is grip on Baltar's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Baltar has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but HANZ is really squeezing tight and eventually Baltar passes out! HANZ breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
