Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Beerly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George St Pierre!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beerly stuffs the takedown attempt from St Pierre. St Pierre gets slowly back to his feet.
Beerly tries to close the distance and clinch up but St Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center.

St Pierre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Beerly's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Beerly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

St Pierre fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beerly avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Beerly will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on George St Pierre's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
