Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roc Blitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Cerrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blitzer comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Wait and Bleed. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blitzer tries to clinch up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cerrano.
Blitzer swats away the attempt to clinch by Cerrano.
Blitzer closes the distance but Cerrano moves to the side

and Cerrano counters with a shoot takedown. Blitzer fights it but they end up in guard.
Blitzer looking for a sweep. Not yet Blitzer, not yet.
Cerrano throws a strike but Blitzer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Blitzer trying to control but Cerrano is working from the bottom.

Blitzer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cerrano is squirming around, avoiding Blitzer's attempts to control the action.

Blitzer wants to control but Cerrano is keeping him busy.
Blitzer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blitzer lands strikes from half guard.
Blitzer prevents Cerrano from improving his position.
Blitzer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Cerrano pushes Blitzer off looking to stand but Blitzer dives back in and keeps control.
Cerrano is trying to maintain the position but Blitzer is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Cerrano counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cerrano.

Blitzer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cerrano is one step ahead there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Blitzer throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
Cerrano trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cerrano connects with a couple of short punches.
Blitzer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cerrano is one step ahead there.
Cerrano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blitzer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blitzer looking for a guillotine here but Cerrano defends easily.

Cerrano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blitzer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cerrano trying to control the position from guard on top but Blitzer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cerrano lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Cerrano might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Blitzer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Cerrano holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cerrano wants to pass to mount but Blitzer is defending the position.
Blitzer throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Blitzer works his way to full guard. Good work.

Blitzer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Blitzer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cerrano wants to pass the guard but Blitzer is keeping the position.
Blitzer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cerrano!

Cerrano is breathing heavily.
Cerrano is bucking up trying to escape but Blitzer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Cerrano tries to improve his position but Blitzer has taken his back! Blitzer has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Cerrano tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Blitzer Pushes Cerrano away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
