The crowd seem to be enjoying Trep's choice of entrance music: Sandstorm. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Pete Trep enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madeira gets a clinch.
Trep tries to break free but Madeira pushes him back against the cage.

Madeira has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Trep is trying to keep an underhook but Madeira manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Madeira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trep is just riding it out for now. Madeira eventually gives up the hold.

Trep is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
