Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Doucet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gen Anduw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anduw lands a nice shot to the body.
Doucet shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anduw as he jumps to the side.
Anduw lands a right hook to the body.
Anduw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Doucet scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Anduw is trying to buck Doucet off.
Doucet trying to control the action but Anduw is working from the bottom.

Anduw sneaks out the side door and pushes Doucet away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Anduw doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Doucet decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anduw's guard.
Doucet pushes down on Anduw's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doucet is breathing heavily.
Doucet is tying to control. Anduw wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Anduw tries to kick Doucet off but Doucet keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Doucet is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Doucet looking to control but Anduw is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Anduw wants to try and get back to his feet.
Doucet controlling the pace for now.

Doucet working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Anduw is squirming around, avoiding Doucet's attempts to control the action.
Anduw is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Doucet thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That was a close round but I would say that Matthew Doucet will probably get the nod.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Doucet goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Anduw turns into him and now he's in Doucet's guard.

Doucet wants to stand and escape but Anduw is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Doucet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anduw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anduw manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anduw stands up and waves to Doucet to follow him.
Doucet just misses with a punch to the body.

Doucet wants to control the pace but Anduw is squirming around nicely.

Doucet unloads with some shots from mount but Anduw bucks and avoids them well.
Doucet really is a fat lump.

Doucet gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Doucet avoids a kick to the body.
Anduw lunges at Doucet with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Doucet's hand.
Doucet misses with the combination.
A left lands for Doucet.

Doucet changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anduw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Doucet just content to control the position.

Doucet has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Doucet shoots in and bounces Anduw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Anduw has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Doucet off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anduw scores with a jab.

It looks like Matthew Doucet has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anduw looks to land a body kick but Doucet moved away.
Anduw lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Doucet crumples to the floor! Anduw milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
