The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
XYEB clinches with his opponent.
XYEB lands a right hand.
Kharitonov takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut.
XYEB pulls guard effortlessly.
XYEB is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
XYEB trying to control the action but Kharitonov is working from the bottom.
Kharitonov is trying to stand up here but XYEB is controlling him well.
Kharitonov trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
XYEB stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Kharitonov loads up on a big right hand but XYEB slips the punch.
XYEB shoots for a double leg takedown but Kharitonov sprawls well. He's pushed XYEB's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kharitonov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like CTO XYEB has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kharitonov ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with XYEB's jaw. XYEB's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Kharitonov does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Boris Kharitonov!
