Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2pac - Lost Souls. Andrew Barcello has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcello shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Barcello keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Barcello fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Diaz sprawls well initially but Barcello persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Diaz is looking to improve his position.
