Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felix Doppler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorma Kaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaki has chosen MacGyver Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Felix Doppler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorma Kaki!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaki thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Doppler if he has to take too many more of those.
Kaki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Doppler did well to prevent Kaki getting side control.
Ground and pound from Kaki.
Kaki working over Doppler with some ground and pound. Doppler looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Kaki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Well, if Kaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doppler keeps working.

Kaki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Doppler is refusing to be controlled, as Kaki sits in half guard.

Kaki wants to control from the top but Doppler keeps moving.
Kaki throws and elbow that misses. Doppler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kaki's guard. Nice move by Doppler!

Doppler has gone for a leg lock! Kaki slips out almost immediately though and dives into Doppler's guard.

Kaki is keen to just control but Doppler is a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Doppler wants to sweep but Kaki has passed to side control!
Kaki controls the position from side control.
Kaki in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Kaki goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Doppler rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kaki's guard! Nice work there by Doppler!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kaki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Doppler circles away.
Kaki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kaki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kaki is defended easily by Doppler.
Doppler blocks a jab.
Doppler lands with a hook. Kaki tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kaki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Felix Doppler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorma Kaki.
Kaki tries a head kick but it misses.
Doppler takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kaki shoots for a takedown but Doppler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Doppler counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Doppler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kaki keeping moving, preventing Doppler from controlling successfully.
Doppler prevents Kaki from getting back to his feet.
Doppler controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doppler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kaki can't keep his opponent in guard - Doppler advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kaki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doppler is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doppler takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kaki is staying active underneath Doppler, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Doppler stalling.
Jorma Kaki has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kaki is trying to control but can't.
Doppler is working for a kimura but Kaki is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Doppler is in all sorts of trouble here.
Doppler is squirming around, avoiding Kaki's attempts to control the action.
Kaki might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doppler kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Doppler wants to hold on but Kaki pushes him away.
Kaki looking to control but Doppler is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Felix Doppler will probably get the nod.

and Doppler counters with a body kick that stops Kaki in his tracks momentarily.

Jorma Kaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doppler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doppler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Doppler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kaki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Doppler to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Doppler trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kaki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Doppler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Felix Doppler.
I think Doppler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
