Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between RJ Tenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tenn's entrance music is Bulls On Parade. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Brien shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tenn's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tenn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
O Brien wants to pass the guard but Tenn is keeping the position.

O Brien drops back looking for a leg! Tenn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tenn manages to kick O Brien off! O Brien jumps back into Tenn's guard.

Tenn is staying active underneath O Brien, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

O Brien is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tenn is just riding it out for now. O Brien eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Tenn gets caught flat footed, as O Brien shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

O Brien rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tenn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tenn walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

O Brien shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tenn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
