Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gai Daigouji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ash Berry told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daigouji looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Berry shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Daigouji is trying to defend but Berry finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Berry passes to side control.
Berry trying to control the action but Daigouji is working from the bottom.
Berry advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Berry jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Daigouji manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Berry has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Daigouji is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Berry yanks on the arm and Daigouji is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Berry.
