Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riddick Riddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riddick Riddler will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Vice.
Riddler tries to clinch there but Vice circles away.

Vice has managed to clinch.
Riddler lands a hook to the side of the head.
Riddler looking to throw knees to the head but Vice is blocking nicely.
Nice body punch from Riddler - that landed with a thud.
A body shot lands from Riddler.
Vice wants a takedown.

Vice is working for takedown but Riddler is calmly controlling the position for now.

Riddler fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vice on the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vice shoots in for a takedown but Riddler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Vice decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Riddler's guard.
Vice throws and elbow that misses. Riddler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vice's guard. Nice move by Riddler!

Vice has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Vice keeping moving, preventing Riddler from controlling successfully.
Riddler tries to stand but Vice is controlling from the bottom.
Vice might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vice is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Riddler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Riddler wants to stand but Vice is controlling his posture from full guard.

Riddler stands up and waves to Vice to follow him.

Vice shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Riddler napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Vice throws a strike aimed at the side of Riddler's head but Riddler avoids it well.
Vice is trying to ground and pound but Riddler uses the momentary lack of control by Vice to regain half guard.

Vice seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Riddler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Vice tries to pass the half guard into mount. Riddler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Riddler is looking for a sweep. Vice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vice throwing shots but Riddler is blocking nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vice throws a looping overhand right but Riddler ducks down to avoid it.
Riddler attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Vice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vice's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vice trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Vice throws a big right hand that misses.
Vice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Riddler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Riddler is looking to stand up but Vice isn't so interested in that idea.
Riddler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vice's guard.
Vice has control of Riddler's left arm, preventing Riddler from doing any damage.

Vice is pulling down on Riddler's head. It's preventing any offense from Riddler, at least for the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vice has a closed guard, preventing Riddler from standing up.

Vice manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Vice misses with a head shot.
Vice throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Riddler because Vice loaded up on that one.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Vice is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Riddler can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Vice misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Vice looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Riddler covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
