PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sendo Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nante Navetta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeshi comes into the arena with 2Pac - Hit 'Em Up blaring out of the sound system. Navetta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Roger Allan Wade - If You're Gonna Be Dumb. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Navetta closes the distance and pushes Takeshi back into the cage.
Navetta lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Sendo Takeshi has been cut.

Navetta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Navetta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Takeshi throws a series of punches but Navetta moves out of range.

Takeshi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Navetta. Navetta circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Takeshi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Navetta tries to clinch but Takeshi is having none of it.
Navetta moves in looking to clinch but Takeshi pushes him off.
A decent looking cross lands there for Takeshi.
Navetta gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Navetta moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Navetta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takeshi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Takeshi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Navetta right on the button. Navetta goes down! Takeshi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Takeshi gets the win via TKO!
