Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell darts in and clinches Cyrus up against the cage.
Liddell jumps guard.
Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cyrus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cyrus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cyrus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Liddell has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cyrus has passed into side control.
Cyrus moves into full mount!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cyrus tries to control but Liddell wriggling away.

Cyrus tries to keep control of the position but Liddell is staying busy.
Cyrus is working for a rear naked choke. Liddell is not defending it well and Cyrus has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Liddell refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Liddell 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
