The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Newcomer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Newcomer misses the target.
Anderson lands a jab-cross combination.

Anderson lands a left and a right that send Newcomer crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Newcomer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
