The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corrleone looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Corrleone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mike Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Corrleone.
Corrleone shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jones is looking to stand but Jones has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Corrleone tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones get's back to his feet.
Corrleone fails with the takedown
and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Corrleone looks gassed!
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Corrleone doesn't seem bothered though.
Corrleone tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Corrleone scores a takedown into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is trying to stand.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Corrleone throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Corrleone looking to ground and pound but Jones is blocking nicely.
Corrleone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Corrleone takes Jones's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Jones is in trouble.

Corrleone is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jones has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Corrleone has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jones taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Corrleone doesn't care though - he's delighted!
