Carlton is looking to clinch.
Sherk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Carlton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sherk is controlling Carlton's posture.

Carlton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sherk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sherk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sherk!
Carlton looks gassed!
Sherk is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carlton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sherk gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carlton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sherk lets go of the hold and Carlton can pop his arm back in it's socket.
