Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffman shoots for a double leg takedown but Rush sprawls well. He's pushed Hoffman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hoffman fails with a takedown attempt.
Rush tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hoffman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rush is trying to defend but Hoffman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hoffman looks to land a strike but Rush avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rush wants to sweep here but Hoffman controlling him for the moment.

Hoffman is working for a guillotine from mount but Rush frees his head quite easily.

Hoffman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rush has worked his arm free - good work by Rush!
Hoffman lands a few punches from side control.
Rush holds on to Hoffman's head and controls the position momentarily.

Hoffman wants to control but Rush is keeping him busy.
Hoffman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rush has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hoffman but great work by Rush.
Hoffman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hoffman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoffman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rush's best efforts.

Hoffman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hoffman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rush defends well.

Hoffman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rush is trying to stand up here but Hoffman is controlling him well.

Hoffman shoots in but Rush avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hoffman tries for a takedown but Rush sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A right-left combo lands from Rush.
Rush stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rush wants it to stay on the feet.

Hoffman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rush napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hoffman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rush is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hoffman, into his guard.

Rush is sitting in close to Hoffman's body. Hoffman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rush is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rush is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hoffman.
