Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gracie barra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelby comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing. barra is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by rock with you. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby digs a good hook to barra's body.
barra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shelby was covering up waiting for the punch and barra finishes the takedown easily into guard.
barra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shelby swivels though and keeps the full guard.
barra is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
barra stopping the sweep attempt from Shelby.
Shelby has his hands on barra's head, controlling the position.
barra drops back looking for a leg! Shelby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shelby manages to kick barra off! barra jumps back into Shelby's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shelby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shelby seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
barra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shelby swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
barra forces Shelby back against the cage and clinches.
Shelby fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Shelby gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from barra.
Shelby tries to break the clinch but barra is controlling the position.
barra throws a head punch that misses.
barra successfully pulls guard.
barra is looking for a triangle but Shelby pushes his legs off easily.
Shelby wants to stand but barra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
barra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shelby trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Shelby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
barra thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
barra looking for a guillotine here but Shelby defends easily.

Shelby wanted to stand there but barra had control of the position.
barra is looking for a triangle but Shelby pushes his legs off easily.
Shelby would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shelby controls from within his opponent's guard.

Shelby wants to get up but he can't break barra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
barra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shelby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
barra is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shelby is aware though and is defending well.
barra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shelby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shelby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shelby is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
gracie barra dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
barra slips a jab and a cross from Shelby.
Shelby lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
barra closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shelby circles away.
Nice defenses there by barra.
Shelby misses with a hook. barra ducked under it nicely.
A slow jab from Shelby misses its intended target.
Shelby dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Shelby connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed barra momentarily.
barra keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
barra is breathing heavily.
Shelby misses with a wild combination.

barra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Shelby wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Donk. Shelby catches barra right on the button with a cross.
Shelby digs a good body shot into barra's ribs.
barra keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice combination there by Shelby.
Shelby smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
barra is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shelby connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
barra is still on wobbly legs! Can Shelby finish him?
Shelby throws an uppercut from hell that sends barra clean off his feet! He's out cold! Shelby stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
