The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Canti is defended easily by I.
I avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
I closes the distance and clinches.
Canti tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
I has Canti pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Canti manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Canti tries for a takedown but I manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franco Canti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
I blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
I tries to circle away but Canti has him pinned against the cage.

Canti manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Canti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but I can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Canti is looking to sinch up a triangle. I throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Canti's body to avoid the submission. Canti has instead reached around I's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Canti arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
