The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galt tries to clinch up but Murray circles away and keeps his distance.
Galt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like John Galt has been cut.
Galt bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Some wild striking there from Murray.
Galt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Murray jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Murray's corner calls for a 1-2. Murray obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Murray throws the left hand but Galt avoids the punch easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Galt.
The crowd cheers as Murray lands an impressive looking overhand right. Galt doesn't seem phased though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Galt shoots in but no luck this time.

Murray drops Galt with a big left hand and mounts him. Galt is in big trouble!

Oh Galt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Galt is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Murray waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Galt. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Galt to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Murray wants to stand and escape but instead Galt has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Galt drops back looking for a leg! Murray is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Murray manages to kick Galt off! Galt jumps back into Murray's guard.

Murray is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Galt is controlling him.

Galt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Murray ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Galt moves away.

Galt shoots for a double leg takedown but Murray sprawls well. He's pushed Galt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Murray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Galt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
