Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy The Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bongo Bongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bongo has chosen Bang Time as his entrance music. Bongo Bongo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Ripper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The Ripper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bongo.
The Ripper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bongo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Randy The Ripper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Ripper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Bongo Bongo has been cut.
Bongo tries to land a leg kick but The Ripper saw it coming and moves away.

The Ripper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The Ripper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The Ripper is nestled in close to Bongo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bongo throws a series of punches but The Ripper avoids them all with ease.

Bongo throws an overhand right that lands on The Ripper's shoulder, as The Ripper tries to avoid the shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bongo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Ripper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The Ripper is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, if The Ripper is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The Ripper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The Ripper is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bongo with him. Bongo is trying to defend but The Ripper has an arm under the chin now! Bongo grimaces and is forced to tap out!
