The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guarino fails in his attempt to clinch.
Aquino stuffs the takedown attempt from Guarino. Guarino gets slowly back to his feet.
Guarino fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guarino has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Guarino. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aquino throws a head kick that misses.
Aquino looks to throw the jab but Guarino is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aquino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aquino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guarino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Aquino turns into Guarino and is now in his guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Aquino avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Aquino should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Guarino keeping moving, preventing Aquino from controlling successfully.
Guarino throws his legs up looking for a submission but Aquino uses it to pass to side control.

Aquino landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Aquino tries to stand but Guarino is controlling his head.
Aquino tries for a kimura but Guarino is defending well.
Guarino is looking to regain half guard here but Aquino keeps moving and retains side control.
Aquino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guarino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Guarino sneaks back into half guard.
Aquino looks gassed!
Aquino wants to pass the guard but Guarino is defending well.
Guarino works his way to full guard. Good work.
Guarino has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aquino should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Guarino has tightened it up now! Aquino should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
