The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Lamar Johnson has been cut.
Thomas catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Johnson tries to clinch up.
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Thomas circles away.

Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Thomas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Johnson is rocked!
Johnson looks to clinch

and Thomas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Johnson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Johnson misses with a short punch on the inside.

Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Thomas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thomas finish him?!
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas lands an uppercut, right on the button! Johnson tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
