PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antanas Kazlau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Rousseau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rousseau has chosen Stone Cold Crazy as his entrance music. Francois Rousseau told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antanas Kazlau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Francois Rousseau!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazlau shoots in for a double leg but Rousseau sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rousseau drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rousseau jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rousseau had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kazlau is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rousseau Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kazlau's back instead.

I would just about give that final round to Francois Rousseau.
Well Rousseau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
