Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Suon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Ludo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suon's entrance music is Seether. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludo is looking to clinch but Suon is avoiding it.
Suon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Suon fails with a takedown attempt.
Suon swats away the attempt to clinch by Ludo.
Suon circles away from the clinch attempt.
A jab from Suon misses.
Ludo tries to close the distance and clinch but Suon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Suon trying to control but Ludo is working from the bottom.
Ludo has his foot on Suon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Suon works his way back into a safe position though.

Ludo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Suon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ludo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Suon's back instead.

Ludo is persistently looking for the submission but Suon is defending it well.

Ludo is trying to stick to Suon's back but Suon is turning into Ludo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ludo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Suon.
Suon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Suon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Suon wants to free his trapped foot but Ludo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Suon is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ludo has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ludo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ludo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ludo is looking for a triangle but Suon pushes his legs off easily.
Suon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Suon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Suon stands and throws Ludo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Ludo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suon connects with a nice short shot to Ludo's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Suon is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ludo is surviving well by controlling Suon's body position as best he can.

Suon working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ludo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Suon off and cradles Ludo's limp body as Suon celebrates with his corner.
