The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCreey misses with a hook.
Howard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCreey is looking to clinch but Howard is avoiding it.
McCreey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Howard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCreey throws the left hand but Howard avoids the punch easily.
Howard tries for a takedown but McCreey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

McCreey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Howard.

McCreey throws a nice looking combination but Howard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McCreey loads up on a big right hand but Howard slips the punch.
Howard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McCreey is looking to clinch but Howard is avoiding it.
McCreey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Paddy McCreey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McCreey misses with a hook. Howard ducked under it nicely.
McCreey tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McCreey moves in looking to clinch but Howard pushes him off.
Howard tries for a takedown but McCreey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Howard moves out of range as McCreey strikes.
McCreey tries to clinch up

and Howard counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCreey won't be happy with that.
Howard is staying tight to McCreey's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Howard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McCreey is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McCreey struggling a bit here.

Howard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
