Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dougie Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes to the cage accompanied by Despicable. Dougie Ferguson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferguson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Ferguson or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster which made him look bad.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferguson tries to sprawl out of it but Foster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferguson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Foster counters by moving into the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ferguson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
