Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Jonson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman throws a right hand that Jonson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jonson also avoids with ease.
Jonson shoots in but Coleman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jonson fails to land the takedown.
Jonson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coleman as he avoids it easily.
Kevin Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Jonson.
Coleman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Coleman has closed the distance and engaged Jonson in a clinch.
Jonson lands a right hand.
Jonson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Coleman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Coleman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jonson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Coleman to the mat. Coleman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Coleman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jonson is trying to drag Coleman to the mat but Coleman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Coleman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jonson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well Coleman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
