Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Shouw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrell Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shouw moves out of range as Thomas strikes.
Ryan Shouw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shouw tries to close the distance and clinch but Thomas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thomas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shouw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thomas has managed to get both his arms back between Shouw's legs - danger averted.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thomas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
