Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Katze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tino Oac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karl Katze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tino Oac!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oac has Katze up against the cage in a clinch.
Katze looking for a takedown.
Oac throws a punch but it's blocked by Katze.
Katze pressing his opponent against the cage.
Oac swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Oac as Katze tries to tie him up.
Katze is pressed up against the cage. Oac has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Katze down to the mat. Katze avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Katze closes the distance and pushes Oac back into the cage.
Oac looking to stall.
Katze dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Oac tries a body shot but Katze blocks it.
Oac swings wildly with an uppercut but Katze uses good head movement to avoid it.

Katze turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Katze tries to move to mount but Oac blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oac wants to control but Katze postures up.
Oac is looking for a sweep.

Katze is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oac knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Oac tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Katze wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Katze is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Oac is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Katze is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Oac has managed to free his arm - good work.

Katze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Oac with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Katze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Katze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Katze lands in his opponent's guard.

Oac has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Katze regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
