Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bur Zum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zum is looking to clinch but Davis is avoiding it.

Zum drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Davis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zum wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Davis is not content to let Zum control the position.
Zum prevents Davis from escaping the position.
Davis is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zum tries to move into full mount but can't pass Davis's legs.

Davis explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Davis cracks Zum with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Zum clinches but Davis breaks the clinch

Zum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zum had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Davis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zum Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Davis's back instead.

You can see the frustration on Davis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Zum has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Davis has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
