The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Busmalis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Siet.
Siet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Siet feints and as Busmalis raises his hands in defense, Siet changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Siet postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Busmalis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Siet, into his guard.
Siet is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Siet trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Busmalis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Siet on the ground.
Siet tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Siet manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Siet goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Busmalis is on top in guard.

Siet is looking for a triangle here but Busmalis uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Siet tries to bench press Busmalis off him but Busmalis keeps the position.

Busmalis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Busmalis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Siet looks gassed!
Siet takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Busmalis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Busmalis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Busmalis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Siet. That did some damage!
Busmalis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Busmalis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Jiu Jiet Siet has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Siet takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Siet closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Busmalis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Busmalis throws a combination. Siet tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Siet takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Siet on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Busmalis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Busmalis lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Siet can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Busmalis and Siet drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Busmalis.
