Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladmir Inemko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inemko has chosen Black Sabbath - Iron Man as his entrance music. Vladmir Inemko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladmir Inemko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack lands with a nice body punch.
Mack closes this distance looking for a takedown but Inemko circles away.
Mack scores with a shot to the body.
Mack shoots in for a double leg but Inemko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vladmir Inemko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Inemko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mack tries to avoid it but Inemko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mack to the ground. Mack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Inemko swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Inemko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mack's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mack pulls Inemko in close to his closed guard and prevents Inemko from doing any damage or advancing position.
Mack wants to stand up but Inemko is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mack looking to hit a scissor sweep but Inemko is one step ahead there.

Mack is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Inemko trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A shot to the body from Inemko misses
and Mack holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mack has Inemko pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mack pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Inemko tumbling to the mat - Mack dives into Inemko's guard.
Mack wants to stand but Inemko is controlling his posture from full guard.
Inemko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack trying to control the position from guard on top but Inemko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Inemko wants to sweep but no luck.
Inemko looks gassed!
Mack is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mack trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inemko manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mack manages to get himself to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mack holds on and takes a little breather.
Mack trying to keep a closed guard but Inemko is proving a slippery customer.
Mack kicks Inemko off and gets to his feet.
Mack shoots and misses
and Inemko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mack won't be happy with that.
Mack explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Mack shoots in and bounces Inemko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mack is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mack gets to his feet. Inemko looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mack looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mack misses with a takedown
and Inemko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Inemko.
Inemko tries to stand but Mack is controlling from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Inemko being controlled here momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vladmir Inemko will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mack.
No joy there for Mack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mack tries for a takedown but Inemko circles away easily
and Inemko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mack's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inemko distracts Mack with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mack has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Inemko doesn't defend quickly enough and Mack has managed to lock this one up! Can Inemko escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mack on a fantastic submission victory.
