PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Raskolnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadeusz Moniuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raskolnikov comes into the arena with Pendulum blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raskolnikov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moniuszko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Moniuszko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Raskolnikov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Raskolnikov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moniuszko, up you get!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Moniuszko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Moniuszko paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Raskolnikov - great work!
