And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fuego Silveti!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silveti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Champion did well to prevent Silveti getting side control.
Champion is trying to stand back up but Silveti is controlling him

Silveti is trying to work for a kimura but Champion is defending well.
Champion manages to get to full guard.

Silveti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Champion is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Silveti is aware though and is defending well.
Champion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Champion working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silveti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silveti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Champion is breathing heavily.
Silveti passes Champion's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Silveti stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Silveti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Champion did well to prevent Silveti getting side control.

Silveti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silveti is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Champion is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silveti's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silveti's back!

Silveti stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Champion misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silveti feints and as Champion raises his hands in defense, Silveti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silveti gets to his feet. Champion looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Silveti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Champion throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silveti.

Champion throws a head kick that misses.
Champion tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Champion gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silveti to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Silveti wants to pass the guard but Champion is keeping the position.
Silveti works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Silveti is trying to work for a kimura but Champion is defending well.
Silveti wants to pass to mount but Champion is defending the position.

Champion looking for submissions off his back.

Silveti seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Champion is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
