The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffs is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Spliffs blocks the leg kick.
Marquardt fails to land the takedown.
Spliffs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marquardt swats away the attempt to clinch by Spliffs.
Good work by Spliffs as he checks the leg kick.
Spliffs misses with the combination.
Spliffs throws a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marquardt tries to land a leg kick but Spliffs saw it coming and moves away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Good leg kick by Spliffs there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
