Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Romano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Rayner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rayner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Romano has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Romano!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rayner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Romano has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Romano and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rayner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Romano tries to avoid it but Rayner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Romano to the ground. Romano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Andre Romano.
