Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen doesn't manage to clinch there - Cambell circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Cambell.
McQueen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cambell.

Cambell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McQueen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Cambell got a little sloppy there for a moment and McQueen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cambell has managed to get both his arms back between McQueen's legs - danger averted.

Cambell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cambell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McQueen misses with an attempted mid kick.
McQueen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cambell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McQueen tries to avoid it but Cambell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McQueen to the ground. McQueen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cambell drives through and clinches with McQueen against the cage.
McQueen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
McQueen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Cambell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. McQueen just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jermaine Cambell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McQueen tries a body shot but Cambell blocks it.
McQueen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Cambell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McQueen tries to keep at a distance but Cambell has taken the fight into the clinch.

McQueen is pressed up against the cage. Cambell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McQueen down to the mat. McQueen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

McQueen throws a right and a left that Cambell avoids nicely.

Cambell closes the distance and clinches up with McQueen, looking for a takedown. Cambell pushes McQueen against the cage but McQueen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cambell shoots for a double leg takedown but McQueen sprawls well. He's pushed Cambell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McQueen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cambell is working away from the top position though.
Cambell is looking to take a break and control but McQueen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McQueen is trying to stand up here but Cambell is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cambell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McQueen is trying to maintain the position but Cambell is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cambell clinches but McQueen breaks the clinch
and McQueen counters with a series of strikes. Cambell will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cambell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McQueen sprawls well. McQueen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cambell gets slowly back to his feet.
McQueen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cambell backs up against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cambell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McQueen fails with an attempt to clinch.
McQueen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

McQueen rushes Cambell and presses him up against the cage.

Cambell pulls guard successfully.
Cambell has a closed guard, preventing McQueen from standing up.

Cambell is looking for a triangle but McQueen pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

McQueen has closed the distance and engaged Cambell in a clinch.

and McQueen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McQueen tries to clinch up but Cambell circles away and keeps his distance.

and McQueen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Cambell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McQueen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McQueen throws a push kick but Cambell slaps the foot to one side.
McQueen lands with a kick to the temple. Cambell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

McQueen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cambell, pushing him back against the cage.

Cambell jumps into guard, dragging McQueen to the mat.

McQueen drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. McQueen seems to have locked his on tight now - Cambell screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for McQueen, as he picks up the win!
