PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Cash Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Chimney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Cash Jr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Chimney!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cash Jr looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Chimney wants to stand and escape but Cash Jr is having none of it.

Cash Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Chimney throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cash Jr could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Chimney has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cash Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cash Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chimney doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cash Jr.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cash Jr postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cash Jr slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Cash Jr looks up at the clock and then as Chimney takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cash Jr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Cash Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Chimney, looking for a takedown. Cash Jr pushes Chimney against the cage but Chimney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chimney shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cash Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Cash Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chimney gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cash Jr had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chimney is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cash Jr Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chimney's back instead.

Chimney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cash Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cash Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chimney was covering up waiting for the punch and Cash Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cash Jr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
