Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "This calling" by All that remains. Svensson has chosen Emeth - Telesis as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stone avoids a punch combination nicely.
Frank Svensson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone misses with a leg kick.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Svensson.
Svensson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Svensson shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.

and Stone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Svensson throws a looping overhand right but Stone ducks down to avoid it.

Svensson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stone, who protects the arm well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stone missing with a left hand there. Svensson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Svensson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Michael Stone has been cut.
Svensson misses with a double jab
and Stone counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd cheers as Stone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Svensson doesn't seem phased though.
Svensson tries to clinch up.
Stone misses with the combination.
Svensson misses with a looping right.

Svensson misses with a hook.
Stone fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Svensson on the side of the head.
Svensson scores with a takedown into Stone's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Svensson drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Svensson off! Svensson jumps back into Stone's guard.
Stone is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Stone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Svensson defends well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Svensson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Svensson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Svensson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Svensson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Svensson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stone counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Stone wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Svensson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Michael Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Svensson.
The referee calls for Stone to work.
Stone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Svensson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Svensson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Svensson is trying to get an arm triangle but Stone is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone pushes Svensson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Svensson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Frank Svensson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Michael Stone's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Svensson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stone misses with a series of wild punches.
Stone throws a head kick that misses.
Svensson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stone counters with a head kick.
A left and a right from Svensson both land. Nice combination.
A bone on bone clash there as Svensson blocks the leg kick.
Svensson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Svensson advances to full mount.
Stone flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Svensson looking to isolate an arm here. Stone doesn't see it coming and as Svensson extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Svensson!
