The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Felon gets caught flat footed, as GiantS shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Felon keeping moving, preventing GiantS from controlling successfully.
GiantS will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
GiantS pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Felon is keeping the position for now.
GiantS trying to control the position from guard on top but Felon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Felon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Felon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
GiantS controls from within his opponent's guard.

Felon is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and GiantS dives into side control.
GiantS trying to control the action but Felon is working from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Felon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and GiantS decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Felon's guard.
GiantS prevents Felon from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Felon slaps away a takedown attempt from GiantS, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Felon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and GiantS counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
GiantS content to control rather than advance.
Felon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from GiantS.
GiantS uses his free foot to push down on Felon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Felon.

GiantS looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Felon is breathing heavily.
GiantS lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Felon hang on?

GiantS throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Felon has his hands clasped together but GiantS breaks the hold and Felon is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by GiantS!
