The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patel chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cesar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cesar throws a leg kick but Patel sees it coming and moves out of range.
Patel fails to land with a series of punches.
Patel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Patel misses with a two punch combination.
Cesar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Patel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cesar is looking to clinch but Patel is avoiding it.

BOOM! Cesar connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Cesar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Patel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cesar has control of an arm but Patel manages to advance to Cesar's back!
Patel has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Cesar's body.
Patel is not going to allow Cesar to sit and survive in this position.

Patel has the hooks in. Cesar is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Cesar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Patel to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cesar feints and then cracks Patel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Patel down.

Cesar tries to stand and escape but Patel is controlling the position.
Cesar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
